- This project, funded by ANID through the PhD Placement Program in the Productive Sector, aims to develop a water supply optimization tool that, in addition to integrating environmental and economic costs with water supply, incorporates the variable of water quality. This seeks to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of supply networks and watersheds in Chile. This project builds on the previous development of the center, which already has an intelligent water management tool available, now expanding its capabilities with the integration of water quality. The work includes the collection of water quality information and requirements from users, the evaluation of mixing methodologies, and the incorporation of simulation models into the tool.
