The purpose of the program is to provide a platform to advance the concept of integrated water supply systems, through the development of projects, technologies, scientific studies, partnerships and dissemination. It proposes creating water supply and management systems that optimize resources to guarantee access to water for all users at low cost and with minimal adverse environmental impact.

Through this program, SMI-ICE-Chile aims to systematically support the Ministry of the Environment in its Just Water Transition strategy, with knowledge and tools that facilitate the development of integrated water supply systems that will benefit people, nature and economic activities.
