Line of Research: Environmental Rehabilitation and Ecosystem Dynamics

Nicolás is a geologist from the University of Chile, with a diploma in Management of Mining Environmental Liabilities of the Mining-Metallurgical Industry from the Andrés Bello University, and a diploma in Applied Environmental Geochemistry for Mining from the Universidad Mayor. He has experience in geological exploration, metal mining, consulting in water resources, and lithium brine projects.

His main areas of interest are hydrogeochemistry, environmental geology applied to mining, and massive mining waste.
