Line of research: Environmental Rehabilitation and Ecosystem Dynamics

Marcela is a Civil Engineer in Extractive Metallurgy from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, with experience in research and application on the topic of micro encapsulation as an alternative for the prevention and control of acid rock drainage. She joins SMI-ICE-Chile to collaborate in the project “Water resilience in the face of Climate Change: pilot validation of passivation technology to ensure quality water” , of the Crea y Valida Program, to promote CORFO innovation.
