Dante is a member of the Aymara indigenous community. He has an undergraduate degree in business administration (Universidad de Tarapacá), a Master of Management for Globalization (Universidad de Chile) and a PhD (University of Sydney, Australia). He is also a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Intercultural and Indigenous Studies (CIIR). He has over 10 years’ experience in research and consulting on Indigenous Peoples, including as a co-researcher for FONDECYT projects 1181713 and 1221330. As a consultant, he has worked on several multidisciplinary teams linking the Indigenous Peoples of northern Chile with strategic planning, sustainable development, rural habitability, urban migration and other issues. Lately, his work has focused on understanding mining regions and Indigenous Peoples.
