Line of research: Comprehensive Occupational Safety and Health

Alexander is a Risk Prevention Expert registered with the National Health Service (SNS) and a Sernageomin Category B Mining Safety Expert. He has a Master of Industrial Engineering with a concentration in mining processes and a certificate in operations management from Universidad Andrés Bello, a certificate in industrial hygiene from Universidad Federico Santa María and a Master of Risk Prevention from Universidad Alcalá de Henares (Spain). He is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering at Universidad Andrés Bello.

He has 15 years of experience in occupational safety and health in the mining industry, leading different teams in occupational health and hygiene, management systems and data analytics. His current role is to generate research projects on occupational safety and health and to promote specialization courses at national mining companies.
