SMI ES COORGANIZADOR DE PLANNING FOR CLOSURE 2020 (English below)

El Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation del Sustainable Minerals Institute de la Universidad de Queensland coorganiza Planning for Closure 2020.

Del 7 al 11 de septiembre de 2020 se realizará el Congreso Internacional de Planificación del Cierre de Faenas Mineras por primera vez online desde Santiago, Chile. El congreso incluye dos cursos previos, la charla inaugural de ICMM (en vivo), 6 charlas plenarias y un panel de discusión (en vivo), y 45+ presentaciones de autores de 11 países (charlas pregrabadas con sesiones de preguntas en vivo).

CURSO PREVIO el martes 7 de septiembre a las 18:00hrs Chile y 08:00hrs Brisbane (gratis para inscritos del congreso):

“Un consorcio de investigación entre industria y universidad enfocado en los aspectos sociales del cierre de minas”, impartido por el Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining, Sustainable Minerals Institute de The University of Queensland, Australia.

SMI CO-ORGANISES PLANNING FOR CLOSURE 2020

The Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation, at the Sustainable Minerals Institute from the University of Queensland will co-organise Planning for Closure 2020.

From September 7 to 11, 2020, the International Congress on Planning for Closure will be carried out online for the first time and from Santiago, Chile. Activities in the congress include 2 short workshops, an inaugural presentation from ICMM (live), 6 plenary presentations and a panel discussion (live), and 45+ presentations by authors from 11 countries (pre-recorded videos with live Q&A sessions).

SHORT WORKSHOP on Tuesday Sept. 7 at 6:00pm Chile / 8:00am Brisbane (free to registered participants):

“An Industry-University Research Consortium that Focuses on the Social Aspects of Mine Closure”, given by The Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining, Sustainable Minerals Institute, The University of Queensland, Australia (in English with Spanish interpretation).
