Lucía is an Architect from the Universidad de Chile, with a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from The University of Queensland.

Her fields of expertise are social aspects of mine closure, Indigenous Peoples’ governance, regional planning of mining areas, urban regeneration, community engagement and co-design of projects. Her main areas of interest are local and regional development, circular economy and community planning.

Lucía is currently working as a researcher for the Social Performance and Resources Governance Line of Research at SMI-ICE-Chile.
