Levi is a Civil Metallurgical Engineer and has Master’s in Industrial Engineering, both from Universidad de Concepción. He has focused on the study of the main concerns and solutions regarding the care, supply, and management of the water resources. Such field was the topic of his Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis, supported by the Water Research Centre for Agriculture and Mining (CRHIAM) from the Universidad de Concepción. Also, he has international experience through an internship at the Centre for the Water in the Minerals Industry (CWiMI), from the Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI), The University of Queensland, Australia, supporting a project regarding an efficient water supply system in the Atacama Region, Chile. Levi loves interdisciplinary work focused on success, he is always looking for new challenges that help him to improve and increase his skills.
Currently, at SMI-ICE-Chile he works as a Project Engineer, mainly focused on sustainable projects regarding the caring and efficient consumption of the water resources, constantly looking to provide innovative solutions to environmental problems associated with the mining industry worldwide.
